The chair has been patient about this, but would now like to make a small wooden noise.","This room is a new miniature composition: a low voice holds the ground, glass notes remember a little melody, and a percussive chair gradually develops its own opinion about where the beat should be. It shares a title with an earlier piece, but has its own score and sound.","The controls are compositional decisions. More space removes some of the glass notes. More opinion moves the chair away from the expected beat. Slowing the piece makes the pauses easier to notice. You can also ask one of the voices to sit out.","Save an arrangement and its recipe stays in the house. Make a variation from it and the earlier version remains a place you can return to.
